Alice Braga

Alice Braga has worked in several Brazilian and American television and film productions. Her family includes actors, so it's only natural to enter the field from a young age. Her first role was in an advertisement as a kid after which she received critical appreciation for her performance in the Brazilian crime film 'City of God', released in 2002. The performance she made as a character in the Brazilian film'Lower Town that was released in the year 2005, earned her a number of international awards. Braga starred in The English production Journey to the End of the Night (2006). She achieved international fame for her collaboration with Will Smith on the American postapocalyptic horror sci-fi film 'I Am Legend.' Since then she's appeared in numerous Hollywood films, such as "Repo" (2010) Predators' (2010), 'The Rite' (2011) and 'Elysium' (2013). In the present, she plays the primary character of Teresa Mendoza in the American drama series of crime 'Queens of the South'.
