Her birth date was the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle was her first name. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parents Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Stevenson is American and has Mexican-American heritage. Her entire life has been a fan of sports. Gerina took up golf when she reached the age of 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School. As a high school student, Gerina took home her first prize at the New Mexico golf state tournament. In addition, she was an athlete in volleyball who played at the state level. In the year 2003 she enrolled at the University of Texas. In her final year, she was the winner of every competition she competed in. In the course of her undergraduate studies she was awarded the title of Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
